Images can serve as links to different pages, and you can even add captions. For a simple portfolio this default gallery may be all that you need! However, it can be limiting depending on what you would like for your website.

The NextGen Gallery plugin allows users many different options for galleries AND albums. albums can be used to keep your images organized. The unpaid version provides: basic thumbnail gallery, basic slideshow, basic image browser, and a basic tag cloud. If you pay and upgrade the pro version of this plugin there is an even wider range of customization options available!
